The soils in Kavarna municipality are black, fertile and suitable for growing all kinds of agricultural crops and some industrial crops.

Unfortunately, the characteristics of the terrain, which is flat, poorly afforested and open to winds from the north, are a reason that the area is prone to wind erosion.
